The properties of Austenitic Stainless Steel 316, 316L, 316H Pipe, Tube are that when it is used in temperatures ranging from 425 degrees Celsius to 860 degrees it is resistant to carbide precipitation. And it can be utilized in the harsh marine conditions and also used in marine sector. SS 316L Tube at elevated temperatures offers high tensile strength, stress to rupture and high creep strength. These grade tubes are mostly suited for formed and fabricated applications like pharmaceutical processing, pulp, and paper processing equipment, fasteners, surgical tools, and refining equipment.

The properties of SS 316H Tube are it is anti-corrosive, good machine-ability, weldability and formability, good dimensional accuracy, pitting/crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking resistance, and also has high tensile strength. The chemical composition of SS 316 Tube contains silicon 0.75; Nickel 10.0min-14.0 max, Sulfur- 0.03, Manganese 2.00, Carbon 0.08, Nitrogen 0.1, Chromium 16.0 min -18.0 max, Phosphorus 0.045, and molybdenum 2.00 min -3.00max.

SS 316, 316L, 316H pipe and tubing specification is ASTM A/ASME SA213/ A249/A269/ A312/ A358 CL. I to V ASTM A789/A790 and the dimensions are ASTM/ASME/API; it comes in round, hydraulic, rectangular, and square form. The end is particularly threaded, beveled end/ and single random.
