Nickel 200 Olets by means of excellent mechanical properties are a pure formed nickel alloy. However, to control carbon in many processes Olets 201 is a modification of Olets 200. They are available in the forms of sheet, plate, bar, tubes and, wire. The corrosion resistance in the oxidizing atmosphere is offered by both Nickel 200 and, Nickel 201 Olets. Alloy 200 Olets are not suitable for high temperatures as they suffer from graphitization. The services of Nickel 200 are limited up to a temperature of 600°F. Nickel 201 can resist up to the temperature of 1230°F. The structure and, mechanical properties of the material can be prevented by proper precautions during the selection of time and, temperature.
